A Special Visit for the Caman
We were delighted to welcome Alan MacPherson of Tanera Camans to the Museum with his son, Lewis.
Alan sponsored our 200-year-old caman through Adopt An Artefact, in association with Shinty World, and came along to see it up close.
During the visit, Museum Trustee Donna McPherson Rucks presented Alan with his Certificate of Adoption. It was a lovely opportunity to celebrate the caman’s story and thank Alan and Lewis for their support.

Sponsor Announced — Cat Logo Etching
We’re pleased to announce Donna McPherson Rucks as the sponsor of the etched glass Cat Logo at the Museum’s Laggan Road entrance.
Her generous winning bid will be recognised with a plaque beside the etching. Thank you to everyone who took part and supported this special addition to the Museum.

New Signs at the Museum
The Clan Macpherson Museum has a fresh new look, with exterior signage now welcoming visitors from both Perth and Laggan Roads.
Designed in-house by the Museum team and produced by Fraser Signs of Inverness, the signs celebrate our heritage and enhance the visitor experience.

New Publication — The Clan Macpherson: Trials, Triumphs & Treasures
Written by long-time supporter and Trustee Emeritus Ewen S.L. MacPherson, The Clan Macpherson: Trials, Triumphs & Treasures shares the stories, artefacts and people that shape our past.
Available for £25 from the Museum shop.

Adopt a Bench – Winning Bidders
Congratulations to Ian Macpherson (CMA member and Museum Trustee) and Mike Chappell (owner of The Aviary at Dalwhinnie), the winning bidders for the two new benches. Their generous support has helped provide new outdoor seating for visitors.
Thank you both for your contributions!
