The Museum is open seasonally from 1 April – 31 October
- Monday – Saturday: 10:00 – 13:00 & 14:00 – 17:00
- Sunday: 12:00 – 17:00

A suggested donation of £7 helps support the Museum’s care, maintenance, and daily operations

The Clan Macpherson Museum aims to be accessible and welcoming to all. We offer the following visitor facilities:

🐾 Guide and assistance dogs welcome inside. A dog-friendly corner with water bowl is available outside for pets

Driving Directions
From the North: Take the A9 south and exit at Kingussie. Follow the A86 to Newtonmore. Parking is accessible from the A86 behind the Museum.
From the South: Take the A9 north and exit at Newtonmore. Follow the B9150 through the village. The Museum is just past the petrol station on the left, with parking via the A86.
From the West: Follow the A86 east into Newtonmore. The Museum car park is on the right before the junction with the B9150.

Public Transport
The Museum is a 10-minute walk from Newtonmore Train Station, and bus services stop directly outside the entrance.
Cyclists can reach the Museum via National Cycle Route 7, which passes through Newtonmore and offers safe, off-road access from surrounding areas.
