Macpherson Electronic Museum
What is the MEM?
The Macpherson Electronic Museum (MEM) is a virtual record of the collection as it was displayed before the 2020 refurbishment. Created in 2004 by Dr Rod Clarke, a long-time supporter of the Museum, it was designed to connect Clan members worldwide with their heritage. It remains a valuable resource for those unable to visit in person.
The Trustees and the Clan Macpherson Association gratefully acknowledge Dr Clarke’s lasting contribution to the Museum.

Search the MEM
The MEM database is a searchable archive of photographs and descriptions from the pre-2020 displays. It is a practical way to explore specific artefacts, themes, or names in greater detail.
Please note: The MEM and its database are hosted on the Clan Macpherson Association website.
